Pheasant Time!

What's a winter without knocking a few birds out of the air?  Curt, Dennis and Bob show off a great weekend haul!

Curts takes a big one!

From what I am hearing, this is his biggest buck to date.  Great buck and great shot!

Carl Gillespie's Mature Buck

Carl landed this old buck with his bow.  I love how wide he is.  Great buck!

Bob Gillespie starts the 2017 season off right!

Bob took this great buck and the story might be even better!  The buck played hard to get, but eventually made his way back and Bob landed the shot.  The deer didn't go too far and proved to be a great bow buck!

Carl traps a monster bobcat!

This is one of the biggest bobcats I have ever seen!  Carl Gillespie legally trapped this bobcat making it an awesome trophy.

Kyle Gillespie gets on the board!

Kyle Gillespie took another great Kansas whitetail.  What a great buck!

Ronda: 1st year...1st buck!

First year hunter, Ronda Flickenger, shot this great 8 point at 10 yards!  Carl Gillespie was hunting with her when he rattled in the awesome buck.  Welcome to the Big Buck Club Ronda!

Father Son Duo

Curt and Carl Gillespie get it done once again.  This time it was on the same day, same stand and only minutes apart.  Moments after Curt shot his great buck with a crossbow, Carl and Curt found themselves hiding behind a big tree as another Kansas giant made his way in.  Carl took the shot and they doubled up!  Great work and a great story!

Jake's awesome buck!

Jake landed a real dandy with this one!  His biggest buck to date and one that looks to make the wall soon.  This 9 point is about 22 inches wide with about 10 inch G2s.  There is great mass and the main beams are awesome.  Great job Jake!

Matt's Buck

Taken on the 2nd day of Rifle season.  The buck showed up quick and the shot seemed even quicker.  Great character with nearly 10 inch tall split brow tines and a nice kicker on the left side.  This buck had 13 points and we guessed was a 4.5 year old.

Pheasant Season Is Here!

Yet another opening weekend to Kansas Pheasant Season and the family showed up in full force.  With 30+ family hunters and lots of birds flying, it was definitely a successful weekend.  Great times and great memories!

Bob old and mature buck!

It might not be the biggest buck Bob has taken, but it might be one of the oldest.  This was a great 8 point buck that looks to be one of the older deer we have taken of the farm for a while.  Great buck!

Ben Gebhardt's big 10

Ben shot this great buck with his bow at 43 yards. He was using a decoy and this bruiser came in the check it out.  This is the only picture I have for now, when I get others I will update it.  Great Buck Ben!

Curt gets the job done as well!

Carl's awesome buck!

Bob Gillespie took a great mature buck opening rifle weekend

Matt Engler's nice bow buck

Kyle has set the bar pretty high!

Great buck Kyle!

Gobble Gobble Boom!

Day two of the season and Uncle Bob already got one in the book!  Nice kill uncle Bob!
